It’s summertime, and the reading is easy. Get the kids into the swing of things at the Providence Children’s Museum (100 South St.), when it kicks off its summer reading program June 17 from 5:30-7:30 p.m., presented by the Rhode Island Office of Library and Information Services.
Local children’s will offer engaging book-related activities and recommended booklists. You can also find out how the whole family can participate in Rhode Island’s 2016 Summer Reading Program at public libraries statewide. The event is recommended for ages 4 to 10.
