Looking for a break in your week? Tired of being around people? Love animals? Stop in at the Roger Williams Park & Zoo for an experience that is both wild and totally relaxing.
I purchased an annual pass to the zoo a few years ago and have never regretted it. Depending on which pass you buy and how many people you go with, you make up the annual fee in about 3-4 visits.
For me, having the annual pass allows me the opportunity to stop in at the zoo whenever I want to go for a walk, sit down on a bench and read for a while, or just say hello to the elephants. The zoo is a great alternative to going to your local park or beach because there are ample restrooms, bubblers, shaded areas, and of course, animals!
Even without the annual pass, Rogers Williams Park & Zoo is a great spot to visit whether you’re with family, friends, or flying solo. Visit during the week to avoid crowds (and to get quality time with your favorite critters, like these leopards we “spotted”).
